Spring time and Sourdough

Well, there is no question about it. Spring time is here in Chattanooga. A little later than we may have expected but warmly welcomed all the same.

Can you believe we have been in practice for almost a month now?!

Clients are coming in, I'm not covered in paint and sheetrock dust (thank goodness). The buildout is but a memory and all that is ahead is our pursuit of providing wellness for our community.

My daily routine is coming back into swing -- with journaling and reading in the morning, exercise, coffee, and off to work as the sun comes up. Chattanooga has beautiful sunrises! When I'm not seeing clients, I'm on foot in the community meeting our neighbors and letting them know about our Grand Opening! We haven't set a specific date, but stay tuned - we are looking at a date in June, and I'll keep you in the loop.

So what's it like?

We are always on the go helping current clients, connecting with new people, hearing their stories, their challenges. I have such a fervent desire to see people gain freedom in their lives. It's crazy the amount of health problems people walk around with and think are "normal".

I just recently spoke with Scott Resnick at Chattanooga Functional Medicine off N Market. I've been intrigued with his process of evaluating the health status of his clients. It blows my mind how many things are overlooked in our current healthcare system. And folks are often led along thinking they're doing the best things without knowing why, and then they're confused when they're trudging along with a chronic problem that has to be "managed" for the rest of their life.

I love seeing people's faces light up when you tell them, "There's hope!", because frankly, there is so much more. More we can do, more life to live, more freedom.

So what else?

Did you hear about the Sourdough class?! I'm super pumped for it! These community events have been an awesome way to connect with others in the community over fun ways to improve your health and lifestyle, but they also just feel like having a party with cool people and something new and interesting!
